As the festive season hurtles towards us, partners are busying themselves with various pressing matters, such how to ensure their deals are tied up before Christmas Day so they aren’t threatened with divorce by irate spouses – again.
However, one City lawyer is currently seeking alternative identities of his own after bestowing upon Norton Rose finance chief Stephen Parish the nickname ‘Superman’ - in honour of his valiant flights across the globe to shore up the firm’s departure-prone finance practice (see original Diary revelations).
Finger-pointing among partners is now rife, with one insider apparently “very cross that he seems to have got the blame for the 'Super-parish' thing”.
However, the source added: “I heard the other day that Parish likes the nickname, so pretty soon [the accused partner] might start taking the credit for it…even though we both know he didn’t say it.”

Unscrupulous City headhunters beware...
it's Syndicated-credit-facilities-Man!!
