Laugh-a-minute Nottingham firm Freeth Cartwright will tomorrow (16 February) demonstrate its appetite for zany, slapstick anarchy by sponsoring the Leicester Comedy Festival, which is set to feature top comic talent including foppish housewives' favourite Russell Brand and rubber-faced TV ever-present Jimmy Carr.
"Contrary to the popular image of lawyers, at Freeth Cartwright we do have a great sense of humour," partner Phil Baigent reveals in the firm's sternly-worded press statement, smashing all those ‘lawyers are boring’ misconceptions into a thousand wry pieces. "[We] love to have a laugh just like anyone else. I have no doubt that anyone who goes to any of the shows during the festival will thoroughly enjoy them."
It's the way he tells them.
