Ashurst's London calling

Posted 19/06/2007 by The Daily Diary

London was calling City firm Clashurst last week at familiar-sounding charity do Party Near The Park (lucky no IP lawyers were present, eh?).

Folk from the party-hard world of commercial property gathered to dress up as elderly rockers and prove it’s not just Mick Jagger who’ll surrender his creaking dignity on stage to drum up a few quid.

Ashurst partners Richard Vernon and Anthony Burnett-Scott (pictured) wowed the crowd in the guise of Joe Strummer and (we think) Mick Jones from The Clash, while ubiquitous Lovells property king-pin and all-round renaissance man Bob Kidby kept a typically low profile among the backing group.
