The City was all aquiver last web after a stray SJ Berwin email warning female staff about the dangers of using its glass elevators while wearing skirts fell into the clammy hands of the national press.
It seems that coffee-drinkers in the bistro below the lift-shafts were getting more than they bargained for if they happened to look up.
Happily, at least one senior SJs figure took the subsequent meeja siege in good humour, telling The Diary: “I wish I had had the presence of mind to say how law firms are aiming for increased transparency these days.”
