In these tough times for property and construction lawyers, Hill Dickinson recently did its bit to raise spirits within the market by getting everyone together for a conference.
And how better to put a smile back on the faces of work-starved lawyers than taking them back to comforting childhood memories by holding the event at a zoo.
The conference at Chester Zoo covered topics such as breeding, feeding time and the petting corner… OK, it actually covered the latest changes to environmental legislation and health and safety updates, with a focus on the recently introduced Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act.
Pre-publicity for the conference included Bob the Elephant (pictured) — nice to see he was complying with health and safety by wearing his hard hat.
